CHOOSE THE HABITS YOU
WANT TO KEEP
The final challenge is here!
Today you must pick your favourite habits from the past 30 days, and decide which you’d like to keep, and which you are not so keen on.
Today is possibly the most important day, because it requires you to practice the skill of balance and setting realistic expectations.
You might only have liked, or found 1 day useful. That’s completely fine. Run with it. Try to be consistent and see where it takes you when you commit yourself to it.
The other alternative is that there are multiple habits that you’d like to keep. Even better!
The only advice to share there is that you don’t want to overwhelm yourself with too many new habits that you try to stack up too high. A new habit takes on average 2-8 months to really engrain, and we can only take on so many at one time. Doing all 30 of these challenges in one go is not an ambition I would recommend pursuing!
A good option can be to pick 1 or 2 habits, which you can practice diligently for a few weeks, and then try adding in just one new extra habit a week and even that is A LOT!
I know that might sound painfully slow, but real lasting habits never happen overnight, and the sad truth of the matter is that the vast, vast majority of people who take on too many new habits in one go, end up quitting all of them just as quickly as they started which is no good.
Try patience and it will pay great riches for a lifetime to come.
So, there you go. 30 days of healthy eating habits. I truly hope that this has been of some help to you. Always feel free to start again, and again, and again, or any day you like, at any time.
