WHAT IS A NUTRITION COACH?

The first question you might have is "what actually is a nutrition coach?" and how can I help you?

As a nutrition coach, I specialise in guiding people to achieve their health and weight management goals, as we tackle big issues such as yo-yo dieting, and overeating. 

 

We focus on you making healthier habits that are actually enjoyable, because let’s face it, most ‘lifestyle hacks’ are really just old diets repackaged, that leave you feeling low in energy, hungry, thinking about food all day, and are not sustainable.

I take a holistic approach to nutrition, which means that when working together, we go deep under the surface to consider other major influences that might be affecting your eating habits, and food choices without you even realising it.

Things like relationships, finances, self-develpoment, job satisfaction, sleep, exercise, lifestyle, and more.

Diets & lifestyle gurus tell you exactly what to eat, but 95% of diets fail and one, to two thirds of people who lose weight, gain back more weight than when they started!

Surely not! Otherwise why would we do them?

That’s something the dieting industry never tells you. Why do you think it’s worth $72 billion dollars? Because it works?

 

Hell no. Think about it. It’s because it makes a profit on not working and instead making you think that you did it wrong.

The problem is that as long as you are prescribed a diet, and a correct way to eat by someone else, you will always be following someone else’s model for success, and that is statistically going to lead to failure.

Research shows that by having a specific accountability appointment with a coach, that you're committed to, it can raise your probability of completing your goal by 95%, whereas just having an idea or goal that you keep to yourself, only has a 10% chance of success, and, based on my experience, even 10% is an over estimation as people struggle every day to get out of the cycle of yo-yo dieting.
